Participant Guidelines:

  • The conference only admits individuals who have been confirmed for registration. Participants must present their passes/official receipts for admission upon entry.
  • Each pass admits one person only. Participants must wear the pass during the conference such that it is shown clearly at all times. Passes are non-transferable.
  • The conference will be conducted in English, French, and Putonghua. Simultaneous interpretation is available for all sessions.
  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transportation to and from the conference venue.
  • There is a limited quota for library and archive visits. Full pass holders could enjoy the priority to join the visits. Availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis if the maximum capacity is reached.
  • Participants must register as SIBMAS members before the start of the conference. The annual membership fee is €25 or HKD220, payable at the conference registration desk or through SIBMAS official website.
  • Once payment has been made, no cancellation or refund requests will be accepted.
  • If the conference cannot take place due to force majeure events (including but not limited to acts of God, war, health concerns, etc.), the presenter will consider alternative arrangements and announce on the conference’s official website.
  • The presenter will conduct photography, audio recording, and video recording during the conference, and these materials may be used for promotional and archival purposes.
  • The presenter reserves the right to change the conference schedule and the right of final decision. In the event of any changes, participants will be notified separately. For latest information, please visit the conference’s official website.
